The Mountain Lake Services Foundation was established to ensure the financial future of Mountain Lake Services by securing community support. The Foundation's efforts will guarantee that comprehensive services of the highest quality will always be available for future generations. The Mountain Lake Services Foundation was formed in 2010 and is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, duly registered with the United States Internal Revenue Service and the New York State General's Charities Bureau.

The Mountain Lake Services Foundation is a separate corporate entity from Essex County Chapter, NYSARC, Inc. d/b/a Mountain Lake Services, and is led by its own active Board of Directors. The Foundation hosts several events throughout the year, including two golf tournaments and several raffles.
