History of the Helen F. McDonald Memorial Golf Classic

Embark on a day of connection, community, and purpose at the Helen F. McDonald Memorial Golf Classic.

Since 1974, Mountain Lake Services—Essex County’s Chapter of The Arc New York—has been dedicated to partnering with people of all abilities to live their very best lives. Inspired by the vision and leadership of Helen F. McDonald, we continue to grow as a trusted resource, supporting over 500 individuals through residential services, day habilitation, supported employment, and early childhood intervention.

This annual tournament honors Helen’s legacy while bringing our community together in support of a meaningful mission. Whether you’re golfing, sponsoring, or joining us for the day, your participation helps create opportunities, strengthen programs, and support individuals and families across our region.
