We’re excited to welcome you back for the Annual Helen F. McDonald Memorial Golf Classic, a cherished tradition that brings together golfers and community members in support of a more inclusive future.

This special event benefits the Mountain Lake Services Foundation, with proceeds helping to provide essential assistive technology, support families throughout Essex County, and fund scholarships for students pursuing careers in Human Services.

Our tournament is currently at capacity, and team registration is on hold. If you're interested in joining, we encourage you to join the waitlist if spots become available.

History of the Helen F. McDonald Memorial Golf Classic

Embark on a journey through the vibrant history of Mountain Lake Services, the esteemed Chapter of The Arc New York in Essex County.

From humble beginnings in 1974, spearheaded by the indomitable Ms. Helen F. McDonald, we've blossomed into a beacon of support for over 500 individuals, offering a myriad of services including residential care, day habilitation, supported employment, and early childhood intervention.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in our recent golf tournament. Your involvement paid homage to Ms. McDonald's legacy, fostered friendly competition, and, most importantly, contributed to shaping brighter futures for those with developmental disabilities. Your participation not only honored the past but also fueled our ongoing mission to uplift individuals and families in our communities, providing crucial assistive technology, scholarships for aspiring Human Services professionals, and unwavering support every step of the way.
